An evening of PAIRINGS
Hope you Enjoyed the Evening
An evening of networking, tasting and smelling was presented to an industrial star studded audience. This culinary event paired scent, food and wine. Experts in wine and perfumery compared and contrasted the pairings for the exclusive attendees, aspiring to their discerning senses.
The event featured an introduction into the mind and creative inspirations of three of our industry's most accomplished Perfumers. Along with an exclusive featured cocktail, three-course gourmet dinner and selected wines paired by our amazing sommelier, the evening of PAIRINGS inspired creativity and new vision into producing fragranced products.
Paired with youthful insight and a wonderful zest for life, this talented rising star continues to impress with every new creation. Come learn and follow some of her inspiration as she describes her passionate pursuit of perfumery with exciting new ingredients.

After completing her degree in Business Administration, she joined Givaudan to understand the different stages of the craft, from working with the perfumery team and to honing her skills with the evaluation department. Natasha then applied and was accepted to the Givaudan Perfumery School, rejoining Givaudan's New York studio in 2007.

He loves to travel and discover new scentsations. Delville, who tries to stay Zen, gets his true source of inspiration from nature, yoga and running. He listens to his intuition and admires intelligent people with passion and a kind heart.
Paired with a seemingly unbounded insight into the creation of beautiful fragrances, this Living Legend and Iconic Perfumer brings to us some of her infinite wisdom and passionate philosphies for creating perfect fragrances with perfect ingredients.
When Sophia Grojsman was honored by Cosmetic Executive Women for her contributions to perfumery, the group noted that she had created more fragrances sold today than any other perfumer in history. Grojsman's list of wins includes some of the most famous and best-selling fragrances ever created, which have won many FiFi awards. She came to International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in 1966 as a lab assistant to Ellie Fox, a senior perfumer at IFF. Her mentors included Josephine Catapano and Ernest Shiftan, two legendary American perfumers. She cites her absolute love of people as the real fuel behind her passion, which has earned her a Living Legend Award from the American Society of Perfumers.
Facilitating the Pairings of the evening, Certified Sommelier Elizabeth Schneider will explain the similarities between wines and scents, and how food is intertwined in each of these components.
After graduating from Wesleyan University and embarking on a decidedly non-wine career, Elizabeth Schneider realized that her heart was more in her hobby than in her high-tech job. She undertook a course to learn how to taste and appreciate wine, earned her MBA from the University of North Carolina and embarked on a decidedly non-high-tech career focused on wine. She's a Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers), a Certified Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators) and worked for the largest winery in the world, launching several successful brands and co-authoring an acclaimed training program for restaurant servers. Traveling extensively to taste wines from around the world and to receive training on wine regions, she's now writing Wine For Normal People, a book exploring wine fundamentals in a way that makes wine fun, easy and normal.
